Our tango band, Cuidado, will be playing at PaTangoS Milonga on Wednesday, April 30th at Peter's Pub starting at 9:30pm. See the Milonga section below for more details!

Singles and couples are both welcome! Lessons are taught on Mondays at the Wightman School Community Building, 5604 Solway Street (click for map).
Beginners Classes
Time: Mondays, 6:30 - 7:30pm
Fee: $10 per class ($7 for students)
Intermediate Classes (4-week sessions only)
Time: Mondays, 7:30 - 8:30pm
Fee: $40 per 4-week session ($28 for students)
We ask that you sign up for these sessions in advance, please.
Duquesne University Students
Free lessons for Duquesne students are offered at the Power Center every Friday. Beginners' Class is from 4:00-5:00pm and Intermediates' class is from 5:00-6:00pm. Singles and couples are welcome, see you there!
Milonga is a social tango dance party. At these parties people get together and enjoy tango dancing. Please, come join with us and find your connection.

Pittsburgh's PaTangoS Milonga
Organized by Pittsburgh's PaTangoS, this milonga is free and open to the public. A free lesson is included each week, taught by local teachers. Local DJs and live tango bands will also be featured on a rotating schedule.
When: Every Wednesday night; Lesson is at 8pm, Milonga starts at 9pm.

Koichiro Suzuki started taking Argentine Tango lessons at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he went for his undergraduate study. Before Mr. Suzuki started to dance, he was always interested in performance. In 1996-1998, Koichiro marched and performed with the world-renowned Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. After the drum corps, Koichiro decided to pursue the degree in Music Performance. This opened new ways to express his passion of performance as a musician and a dancer. His dancing skills grew up tremendously from his deep understanding of music. He studied dance with Marek Szotkowski, Olivera Grubisha and Mary Young.
Currently, Mr. Suzuki is finishing his Master's Degree in Performance at Duquesne University and continues performing with the River City Brass Band - the only active professional brass band in the United States. Mr. Suzuki teaches Argentine Tango at Wightman School Community Center and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a founder of the PGH Tango Connection, which provides tango lesson, live music, dance demonstration, performance and social dance party accompaniment.
